Keeping Warm Whilst Cycling & Swimming

Whether you’re a cyclist, surfer, open water swimmer or enjoy any type of outdoor sports, it’s always important to ensure you keep your extremities warm during the cold, winter months.

The team at Sharks Swim & Triathlon regularly share tips and advice on how to protect yourself when exercising outdoors and we are delighted to announce our latest range of equipment to help you to achieve that.

Castelli Products

Now available to order online or from our shop in Gorseinon, are the following new products from the Castelli brand:

• Castelli Neoprene Diluvio C gloves – described as a wet suit for your hands, Castelli has developed this glove based on gloves used for scuba diving in cold water. Just like with a wet suit, your body heats up the bit of moisture inside the glove and you stay warm. In addition, there is a grip to the palm and the high-quality neoprene is extremely stretchy for added comfort.   Available in red and black, these gloves retail at £38.
• Castelli Toe Thingy is designed to keep your feet warm without the hassle of a full shoe cover. These toe covers slip easily over the front of your shoes and are held in place by the cleats. The rugged underside of the toe will add grip and resist rips or tears thanks to a silicone print. The toe cover can be worn on its own or as a layer between your shoe or swim boot and shoe cover to take away the chill and are a snip at just £18.

Adventure Lights

To help you to stay visible in the water and on land, we now also stock Adventure Lights which are designed specifically for extreme weather conditions.   Adventure Lights are the most durable safety light available on the market, which is why we have chosen them as the perfect addition our swim and cycle secure products.  These lights come in two modes, flashing and steady, with up to 250 hours of battery life.  When attached to your body or to a tow float for example, you will be visible for up to 5 km distance.  These lights retail at just £14.95 and come in red, white and green.

Cycle Gear

Wet Suits
