Using flippers greatly improves a swimmer’s body position and their technique in the water. When a swimmer uses fins, they can move faster and their body will sit higher in the water. Many swimmers forget to use their legs when swimming, concentrating on their stroke and breathing; but your largest muscles are found in your legs and with strong legs you will swim further and faster. Sim fins can also help to improve ankle flexibility, develop a more balanced kick and fix your body positioning in the water.
